Celebrating 20 Years of Carvel Blakeney at Softdocs

Today, we celebrate 20 years of service by Carvel Blakeney, Client Success Manager here at Softdocs.

For two decades, Carvel has been an integral part of Softdocs. He’s worn many hats, traveled countless miles visiting and implementing with clients, and left his mark on nearly every corner of our company.

Whether it’s guiding a project to success, mentoring a teammate, or lighting up a room with his grin, Carvel has done it all with a style that’s uniquely his own. 

A Partner to Our Clients 

From the early days of his career to today, Carvel has spent much of his time out in the field, side by side with clients. He’s known for his ability to listen deeply, problem-solve on the fly, and make complex implementations feel simple.

The trust he has built with institutions across the country has become part of our Softdocs reputation. When Carvel’s in the room, people know they’re in good hands and are probably going to find themselves laughing along the way.  

A Builder of People 

Inside Softdocs, Carvel’s impact is just as strong. Over the years, he has helped teammates grow, challenged them to think bigger, and encouraged them as they reached new milestones.

Many people can point to Carvel as someone who shaped their careers, offered guidance at the right time, or simply modeled what it means to be a great colleague.   

The Life of the Party 

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Carvel story without mentioning his infectious energy. Whether it’s a company event, a casual gathering, or a crowded dance floor, Carvel is there, smiling from ear to ear and busting a move or two (or three).

His spirit reminds us that joy and hard work aren’t opposites; they go hand in hand. 

Carvel, thank you for 20 incredible years. Your dedication to our clients, your commitment to our people, and your endless positivity have helped make Softdocs what it is today.  Here’s to the next chapter, more milestones, and yes…plenty more dance floors.
