# Celebrating 20 Years of Arvind Krishnan at Softdocs

Today, we’re honored to celebrate the incredible journey of Arvind Krishnan.

From his first day as a newly minted graduate from the University of South Carolina to his current role as a Product Manager, Arvind has grown alongside the company in truly inspiring ways.

Arvind started his career with Softdocs as an intern on the development team. Since then, he has worn many hats. From intern to Junior Developer, then to Senior and Lead Developer, and eventually transitioning to the Product side, Arvind continues to lead with vision and heart.

Over the years, his technical growth has been matched only by his personal journey.  He is now happily married and the proud father of two wonderful children.

## From the Ground Up: Arvind’s Steady Hand at Softdocs

Being part of Softdocs from the very beginning came with unique challenges and tremendous opportunities. As the company evolved through changes in markets, leadership, and identity, Arvind adapted right alongside it.

> I’ve acquired a lot of product knowledge and very niche knowledge over the years. But the real challenge has been to reinvent myself, to keep an open mind, and to always ask fresh questions.
>

His ability to embrace change as a positive, ongoing process is a testament to his growth mindset and unwavering commitment. Arvind’s colleagues consistently speak about his depth of product knowledge, strategic thinking, and kindness in collaboration. He’s a go-to resource and a steady presence for many at Softdocs.

Arvind is someone who not only solves problems but also mentors and uplifts everyone around him.

> He’s not just an innovator—he's a true team player, someone who brings people together, listens carefully, and turns ideas into real progress. It's hard to picture our product or team without him.
>
> Jason Pfaehler, Senior Product Manager Softdocs

> I have grown to respect Arvind's intelligence, candor, and tenacity through the years and feel honored to be at the same company with him for so long.
>
> Jimmie Moore , Client Support Manager Softdocs

> Arvind's ability to listen to what someone is asking for and translating that into requirements for building software is something that I have admired with him since I started at Softdocs.
>
> Carvel Blakeney, Client Sucess Manager Softdocs

> He began his journey in engineering and now helps shape our most innovative products as a product manager. His deep product knowledge, positive spirit and unmatched work ethic continue to inspire everyone around him.
>
> Scott Craig, Chief Product and Strategy Officer Softdocs

> Arvind is a gem! He knows our applications in and out, and he is always willing to share his knowledge. He is an incredibly patient teacher. He is passionate about making our products better for our customers. I am so glad I’ve gotten to work closely with Arvind during my time at Softdocs, and I’m grateful to learn from him.
>
> Mallory Joynt, Product Manager Softdocs

> Arvind is the best. He was introduced to me 6 years ago as the smartest person you will ever meet, and that has held up to be true.
>
> Jimmy Hiller, Manager of Product Design Softdocs

## More Than a Career—A Place to Belong

Arvind speaks with gratitude about the space he’s been given to grow, to ask questions, and to define what comes next in his journey with the support and feedback of those around him. He’s formed friendships here, made memories, and cherished the opportunity to stay closely connected with his children as he grows in his career.

> I’m proud of the growth we’ve achieved. What our products have done, how they’ve impacted the lives of our users in higher education, K-12, and state and local government. It’s meaningful to know we’re contributing to education in a real way.
