Softdocs, the leading provider of process automation and document management for education and government, announced today that Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) selected the company to modernize its document management and automation platform.
Indiana University of Pennsylvania educates more than 9,000 students annually at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels and is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, which serves more than 85,000 students. By joining Softdocs, IUP becomes part of the growing number of institutions leveraging process automation to transform operations, enhance cybersecurity, and drive meaningful change.
IUP will deploy the Softdocs platform, including document retention and the Etrieve Library (a resource for ready-made forms templates), beginning with admissions and expanding campus-wide. The university will integrate the Softdocs platform with Ellucian Banner as it transitions to a shared instance of Ellucian Banner SaaS with other PASSHE institutions.
IUP will also migrate from its current legacy stand-alone systems to Softdocs, modernizing operations for several departments, including the Office of Admissions, the registrar, student billing, and human resources.
“IUP looks forward to incorporating the Softdocs platform into its systems. This product will assist us in our work to streamline operations and allow us to better serve our students, faculty, and staff. We look forward to the efficiencies that Softdocs will bring to IUP.” – Todd Cunningham, Chief Information Officer at Indiana University of Pennsylvania
The Softdocs platform will deliver an intuitive and secure experience for IUP staff, faculty, and students through the adoption of low-code and no-code tools such as eForms, eSignatures, visual workflow design, and industry-leading document management.
“We are thrilled to welcome Indiana University of Pennsylvania to the Softdocs community,” said Adam Park, Softdocs CEO. “We look forward to supporting IUP as the university moves forward in its goals of student-centered, streamlined, and secure operations.”
