Columbia, SC – [October 3, 2024] – Softdocs, the process automation platform for education and government, announced today that the University College of the North (UCN) has selected the company for its cloud-based document management and automation platform. UCN will use Softdocs’ full suite of products, including electronic forms in EdCloud, eSignatures, workflow, document management, and print customization.
UCN has two main campuses in Manitoba, Canada, and offers more than 40 degree, diploma, and certificate programs. The institution will deploy the full Softdocs platform across both campuses in departments that are central to supporting student success and ensuring administrative excellence.

As part of its deployment, UCN is migrating hundreds of thousands of documents into Softdocs that have been stored in a legacy platform. UCN also plans to streamline and consolidate a number of point solutions in its use of Softdocs. These include applications UCN has been using for forms, signatures, and workflows.
