Aug 2, 2022 – Sandhills Community College took a big step in modernizing their document storage and management strategy by launching their cloud data migration project with Softdocs, the leading content management, and campus automation solutions provider for educational institutions. The project is expected to bring significant improvements to the way Sandhills Community College manages its student, staff, and vendor content and data.

The on-prem storage that Sandhills has used till now puts a heavy burden on their IT teams to ensure data protection as well providing regular updates, backups, and audits. Upon completion, the migration to the Etrieve Cloud will relieve the Sandhills Community College’s IT teams of these and other ongoing maintenance responsibilities. The migration is also expected to deliver significant cost savings over time.
