For over 20 years, Softdocs has proudly served the education space by designing, developing and delivering the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions needed to digitize business processes and streamline the experience provided to students and staff. Recognizing the new challenges facing the K-12 market and continuing the theme of transformation that has found its way into every organization over the past 18 months, particularly within the Education space, Softdocs has announced a ramping up of efforts to enhance its SaaS-based offering and expand its market reach. The latest move? Three new hires for the Softdocs K-12 Account Executive team—Chloe Cowart, Nate Palermo and Corey Pitz.

Cowart comes to Softdocs from PowerSchool, seeking to lead K-12 districts and schools in their efforts to reimagine everyday operations thorough electronic forms, workflow automation and content management. Palermo, also formerly of PowerSchool, is leveraging his extensive familiarity with K-12 and education technology to help interested districts remove paper and the need for manual processes, significantly improving the student, staff and teacher experience. With a shared passion for the K-12 space, Pitz understands the needs of today’s districts and schools, as well as the role the cloud plays in that pursuit—having previously served as an Account Executive for LINQ before arriving at Softdocs.

This expansion of the Softdocs K-12 Account Executive team, as well as Development and Professional Services teams, comes after Softdocs added 74 new educational institutions to its cloud environment in 2020, including 38 migrations from legacy ECM systems. With disruption ongoing, many districts and schools are conducting a thorough review of key processes and systems—in many cases choosing to shift from on-premises to the cloud for added security and accessibility benefits. By building out its strategic K-12 teams, Softdocs is confident in the continued success of the districts, schools and other educational institutions choosing to leverage Softdocs solutions.
