In the evolving world of tech, maintaining high employee satisfaction is no small feat, especially when you’re a fully remote company with a heavily distributed team. At Softdocs, we are proud to have consistently achieved an Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 65+ since we began surveying our team in 2021. This remarkable accomplishment reflects our commitment to our team and highlights the strength of our company culture and our dedication to continuous improvement.

The eNPS is a crucial metric that measures employee satisfaction and engagement by asking a simple question:

“On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend Softdocs as a place to work?” Maintaining a high eNPS score indicates that our employees are highly satisfied and engaged, which translates into a dynamic and positive company culture. This satisfaction is instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring we continue to innovate and excel in our industry.

At Softdocs, we believe every piece of feedback is a valuable opportunity for growth. We collect feedback through various channels, including regular surveys, one-on-one meetings, and team discussions. Once collected, this feedback is carefully analyzed to identify trends and pinpoint areas for improvement.

For instance, when employees expressed a need for more flexible work arrangements, we implemented a remote work policy that has since become a cornerstone of our work culture. Our team also voiced the need for a stronger parental leave policy, which led our leadership to implement a 12-week paid parental leave plan for all new parents.

By taking such actionable steps, we continuously enhance our workplace and address the needs of our team.

Transparency is the foundation of our approach to employee engagement. We ensure that high-level survey results and subsequent action plans are shared openly with the entire team. This practice builds trust and encourages more honest and constructive feedback. By maintaining open lines of communication, we foster an environment where employees feel valued and heard.

We conduct weekly pulse surveys to stay attuned to our team’s sentiments. These short surveys provide real-time insights into how our team feels and allow us to identify and address any emerging issues quickly.
